Please telephone or email to confirm the availability of your preferred dates then send your deposit with a completed booking form for each person in the group. Forms may be downloaded here as either a PDF or a Word document.


All bookings must be accompanied by a deposit of £20 per person per day which will not be refunded if you subsequently cancel your booking.

Full payment is due four weeks before the starting date of any activity and late bookings (within four weeks of your starting date) should be paid in full.

Please make cheques / postal orders payable to Richard McGuire. If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer just let me know and I will send you the account details.


No refund will be made if you cancel a booking within four weeks of your starting date so you should arrange suitable holiday insurance to cover cancellation in the event of accident, illness etc (see below). Additionally, if you decide you do not want to go out on any booked day no refund will be made.

If we cancel an activity for any reason and are unable to offer you a suitable alternative, you will receive a full refund (including your deposit), either as a payment or as credit against another day. Should you opt for credit and there is a difference between the amount paid initially and the cost of your subsequent day you will be liable for the difference (eg, if you have a day cancelled on a Munros course but come back for a single day of private guiding your credit would be £62 but your private guiding day would cost £160, leaving a balance due of £98).
